Abstract: This paper studied zinc oxide thin film deposited on various metal substrate by radio frequency magnetron sputtering using metallic target. The surface roughness, grain size, as well as stress of the thin film sputtered on Au, Pt and Al were studied. The influence of sputtering pressure on the film were also investigated. Results show that all the as-deposited ZnO thin film is polycrystalline and have a hexagonal wurtzite structure with a strong c-axis preferential orientation. By comparison, ZnO/Al has the best crystalline, but its surface roughness is highest. The working pressure influences the crystal structure by changing the kinetic energy of sputtered species. This work provides the references for selecting proper electrode material for the piezoelectric applications of ZnO thin film.

Abstract: Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) has become a widespread method for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) localization, because of its advantage in high accuracy and robust performance. However, there are two problems for it, the clock synchronization between anchors and the calculation complexity. Compensation-based Joint TDOA and AOA location algorithm presented in this paper uses the Time of Arrival (TOA) information between anchors to estimate the relative clock offsets and clock skews, then use the estimated timing parameters to compensate the TDOA information between anchor and tag and restrain the influence of asynchronous clock on localization. After the compensation of TDOA information, this algorithm joint the measurement angle-of-arrival (AOA) information and the TDOA information to locate the tag. Simulation results show that it presents location estimate with relatively high accuracy and reduces the number of anchors needed. Furthermore, this algorithm is theoretically iteration-free, effectively simplifies the calculation, and shows great localization performance in WSN.

Abstract: This paper takes the furrow opener as the research object. The 3d discrete element method analytical models of two types of furrow openers which is designed using 3d CAD software are established, subsequent DEM analytical models of the soil particles are established based on the EDEM software, and the hysteretic spring contact model has been used to calculate the soil-opener interaction. On this basis, the effects of moisture content of the soil, speed and depth of furrow operating on tillage forces are studied by simulation analysis in 3D DEM using the EDEM software. Good agreement has been found between the numerical results and experimental data and the relative errors are within 9%~20%. The feasibility and effectiveness of analysing the furrow operating process using DEM are validated.

Abstract: Tunnel’s large deformation was able to be caused by loess expansion, and tunnel collapse, even landslide, might happen after that. Based on the practical collapse of an expansive loess tunnel, research on the mechanism of expansive loess tunnel entrance collapse was carried. The property test of loess showed loess surrounding tunnel had strong expansion potential, in addition, comparison between calculated and actual mean values proposed that expansive force with the expansion deformation might cause initial support deficiency and tunnel collapse. In addition, using the convergence – confinement method, the collapse mechanism was analyzed.

Stability of Landau Levels under the Influence of an Electric Field

J.Chee and W.Q. Lu

School of Science, Department of Physics, Tianjin Polytechnic University, Tianjin 300387, China

Abstract: Consider the time evolution of a charged particle subjected to a uniform magnetic field and an electric field   that exists for a finite period of time. The electric field can induce intra-Landau level transitions (magnetic translations) that do not change the energy of the particle.  It may also induce energy changing inter-Landau level transitions. The question is beyond the scope of standard perturbation theory because here the Landau levels are infinitely degenerate. We note that the magnetic translation concept is intimately connected with the calculation of the inter-Landau level transition probability.  The probability is completely determined by the Fourier component of the electric field corresponding to the cyclotron frequency. Our main observation in this paper however is that the Fejer asymptotic form of Laguerre polynomials implies that no matter how small the Fourier component is,  inter-Landau level transition probability from a fixed Landau level to other energy levels can be arbitrarily close to 1 if the original Landau energy level is high enough, i.e., influenced by a given electric field, Landau levels of higher energy are less stable asymptotically and their transition probabilities are explicitly predicted by the Fejer formula.

Abstract: Because electronic devices exist inherent turn-on and turn-off time and dead zone delay time is added to PWM, which lead to distortion of the output waveform of inverter and increasement of harmonic content. To solve this problem, this essay introduces the setting mode of dead zone about PWM-control first. We analyze the state of current during the dead zone time. Besides, zero current clamping phenomenon and deviation voltage caused by dead zone compensation, which is based on coordinate transformation of magnetic field oriented control to estimate three phase current polarity. The average voltage compensation method is adopted to compensate dead time effect. Then this essay expounds the process of compensation voltage vector. At last, we has carried on the simulation and experimental test and analyze the three phase current waveform of the output.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a recommendation system for the user to control the smart TV or be recommended with TV program only by the user's voice instruction. This paper will solves 3 issues. The first one is the system should collect the real-time TV programs list. The second one is to construct the user's interest model. The third one is the recommendation of the TV programs to the user which meet to his preference. The data of the TV programs distributed in the internet can be collected by the web crawlers, but sometime the data has different format and encoding and should be converted into well-structured format. Then the system store every user's instruction about program and construct the user's interest model. In order to give the user an individual TV program recommendation, this paper proposes an implemented item-based algorithm which can automatically extracts the user's preference and recommend the user with his favorite TV programs. Abstract: In this study, we proposed and evaluated the use of Independent Component Analysis (ICA) combining the EEG dipole model to automatically remove eye movement artifacts from the EEG without needing EOG as a reference. We separated the EEG data into independent components using the ICA method, and determined the source localization of these independent components with a single dipole model. The EEG signal was reconstructed by automatically excluding those components localized within a preset eye model. EEGs from 12 patients were analyzed. The experimental results indicate that ICA with the dipole model is very efficient at automatically subtracting the eye movement artifacts, while retaining the EEG slow waves and making their interpretation easier.
